HOLLISTON — The Holliston Board of Assessors approved two motor vehicle and trailer excise tax commitments totaling $2,324,591.43 and ratified exemptions and abatements in executive session. Chair Jeffrey Marshall, members Amy Gow and Patrick Hafford, and Principal Assessor Kevin Rudden acted on a Finance Committee-approved $99,000 Reserve Fund transfer to cover Massachusetts Department of Revenue recertification costs through RRC and Tyler Technologies. The board approved three veterans exemptions and two hardship exemptions, plus 17 abatement applications representing $1,341,486 in abated assessed value, with the next meeting set for February 18 at 8:00 AM.
