Holliston Board of Assessors approves FY26 supplemental billing and abatement applications. Chair Jeffrey Marshall, Amy Gow, and Patrick Hafford met with Principal Assessor Kevin Rudden and Deputy Assessor Corinne Sanborn to address resident Michael Merlis's complaints about processing delays; Rudden agreed to verify account credits by March 4 and issue a refund check by March 10. In executive session, the board approved one veterans exemption and six abatement applications totaling $2.3 million in abated value and $32,857.61 in abated taxes, while denying two claims.
The board's FY27 budget proposal remains intact except for a $1,000 training cut ordered by Town Manager Frank Gervasio.
