HOLLISTON — The Holliston Board of Health addressed food inspection report legibility at its September 22 meeting. Vice-Chair Peter Liffiton expressed frustration that illegible reports cannot be properly enforced, and noted that previous promises to implement a digital reporting system have not been fulfilled. Chair Jay Leary acknowledged the reports could be improved.
Health Director Scott Moles explained that the State has not yet selected a digital reporting format, preventing purchase of a $20,000 digital system. Moles was directed to meet with food inspector Lenny Izzo to discuss improving report legibility and investigate clearer documentation options. The board approved three invoices totaling $1,254.
