Holliston Conservation Commission deferred six active wetlands permit hearings and held introductory discussion on a 250-unit Chapter 40B development. Chair Ann Marie Pilch and six commissioners heard proposals for 1700 Washington Street, Norfolk Street stormwater work, 11 Francine Drive septic replacement, and three homes on January Lane, voting unanimously to continue each to March 17. For the 194 Lowland Street project presented by Marcus Partners, the Commission expressed concern over proposed garages within buffer zones near a pond and bordering vegetated wetlands, with Pilch indicating preference for relocating parking and Commissioner Alon Yaari requesting alternative site layouts before supporting the design.
The applicant acknowledged the design remains under development and offered to continue dialogue.
