Holliston Conservation Commission approves stormwater project and four permits; continues seven others. The Commission issued an Order of Conditions unanimously for the Norfolk Street stormwater improvement project, which includes water quality swales and expanded culvert sizing, and approved four Requests for Determination of Applicability for septic replacements and vegetation management. The Commission continued seven applications, including a three-lot January Lane subdivision where it sought clarification on prior vegetation clearing authorization, and deferred action on a proposed bike park at 260 Woodland Street pending applicant response to concerns about erosion controls, trail-access deterrents, and construction timing relative to amphibian migration.
The Commission also appropriated $250 from its Conservation Fund to the Charles River Watershed Association for regional flood mitigation work and endorsed a letter of support for an invasive species management plan at Pinecrest Golf Club.
