HOLLISTON — The Holliston Economic Development Committee endorsed a restructured EDC coordinator position cutting hours from 32 to 14 weekly while strengthening ties to the town planner. Members Glenn Brown, John Drohan, Chinmaya Gogineni, Patrick Hafford, David Thorn, and Charlie Yon unanimously approved prior minutes and agreed the narrower scope, with focus on attracting new business, could work effectively. Drohan presented the New Business Playbook for posting on the town website; the committee abandoned the separate hollistonedc.com domain as too costly to maintain.
Yon advanced a monthly business-update email campaign and tentative monthly in-person breakfasts, to launch once the coordinator is hired.
