Finance Committee endorses $2.5M capital plan ahead of Town Meeting

HOLLISTON — Finance Committee unanimously backs $2.5M capital appropriation before May Town Meeting. Chair Ken Szajda presided over seven committee members who voted 7-0 to recommend that the town appropriate $2,050,000 from the Capital Expenditure Fund, $100,000 from the HVAC/Roof Top Unit Reserve Account, and $350,000 from prior-year articles for Article 25 capital purposes. Vice Chair Matthew Leach moved all substantive votes.
The committee also voted unanimously to recommend favorable action on Article 16 and approved its Town Meeting presentation before adjourning into the meeting at 6:45 PM.
