Finance Committee reviews Level 3 budget; no votes taken on spending.

HOLLISTON — Finance Committee defers FY2027 budget votes pending further review. Town Manager Frank Gervasio presented the operating budget to Chair Ken Szajda and five committee members, with Select Board Chair Ben Sparrell detailing a Level 3 budget centered on pension and OPEB funding over ten to fifteen years. A shift to the Group Insurance Commission enabled balance.

Szajda and the committee flagged concern that the proposed net surplus of approximately $4,000 was inadequate and deferred formal votes until April 14, pending Governor's budget guidance and additional review.
