HOLLISTON — Historical Commission reelects its slate and prioritizes demolition delay, design standards work. Sara Zarrelli retained the chair, with Frank Chamberlain as vice chair and Pat Pereira as clerk. The commission approved the authorization for Zarrelli and Chamberlain to reach out to the Planning Board, Sewer Commission, Economic Development Board, and Envisioning Holliston to discuss nonbinding design standards for the village commercial district following a positive Select Board meeting on January 12.
The commission also approved a draft letter to homeowners explaining that four properties in the village commercial district survey area are eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places, which Zarrelli and Chamberlain will present to the Select Board for distribution.
