Holliston home sales span wide price range as family trust transfers dominate September-October filings

Twenty Holliston property transfers were recorded between Sept. 18 and Oct. 17, but only seven carried a recorded sale price, ranging from $195,000 to $1,375,000 with a median of $785,000 among those priced sales. The month's top transaction was 208 Mohawk Path, which sold for $1,375,000 on Sept. 30 to buyers Kumar Anupam and Tista Banerjee. Thirteen of the 20 transfers appear to be family or trust transfers without a recorded price, including two separate Cottage Drive transactions involving the same family. With pricing data available for only a third of recorded transfers, the period offers limited basis for drawing conclusions about overall market direction.
