Holliston Opens Warrant For October Town Meeting

The town has opened the warrant for the October 2026 Town Meeting, giving residents and boards their first opportunity to file articles for the fall session, according to the town's website.

Town officials announced this week that the warrant for the October 2026 Town Meeting is now open, the Town Clerk's office said in a notice posted to the town website. The opening kicks off the process by which residents, boards and committees submit articles for consideration at the fall session; no closing date or article list had been posted as of Wednesday.
SCHOOLS
Holliston Public Schools posted a new community letter from Dr. Carter dated Aug. 26, the latest in a series of updates the district has sent families as the new school year approaches. Superintendent Susan Kustka's office did not post additional district-wide announcements in the coverage window.
COMING UP
The School Committee's Budget Subcommittee and the full School Committee both meet Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Central Office and High School library, respectively, with remote options available. The district also holds Instrument Rental Nights for band and orchestra families Thursday evening at the high school and elementary schools, alongside orientation sessions that day for Integrated Preschool, Montessori 3-6 and Kindergarten classrooms.
The window for advanced removal of ballots from early voting runs Friday, Aug. 28, the same day the Select Board meets in Room 105 and remotely. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets remotely Monday, Aug. 31, and the Keefe Tech School Committee meets that evening at 750 Winter Street in Framingham.
