Holliston Pushes Downtown Roadwork Start to August 10

Roadwork originally slated to begin sooner on several downtown streets has been pushed back to August 10, the town announced Wednesday, giving residents extra time before Pleasant, Spring, School, Exchange, Mechanic and Union streets see construction crews.

The town's News Flash confirmed that work on Pleasant Street, Spring Street, School Street, Exchange Street, Mechanic Street and Union Street will now begin the week of August 10, an update from the previously announced start date. Other streets slated for repair are also expected to be addressed that same week, according to the notice posted to the town website.

Separately, the town homepage flagged a newly posted "Letter from the Holliston School Building Committee," signaling continued movement on the district's ongoing school facilities planning process, though the letter's specific contents were not detailed in the town's public posting as of Wednesday afternoon.
