The School Building Committee's letter went up on the town's News Flash page alongside the district's ongoing MSBA Feasibility Study listing, which tracks the town's work with the Massachusetts School Building Authority on potential facility improvements. No further detail from the letter was available at posting time.
Two School Committee subcommittees have meetings on the calendar for next week: the Budget Subcommittee meets remotely Tuesday, Aug. 18, and the Policy Subcommittee meets Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the Central Office Conference Room. Elementary families also have a date to note: Placentino Elementary hosts an open house Aug. 19 for newly registered Grade 1 and Grade 2 students, part of a broader run of back-to-school orientations the district has scheduled for younger grades in the coming weeks.
