Holliston Seeks Volunteers for Conservation Commission, Other Boards

Holliston is looking for a new volunteer to serve on its Conservation Commission, part of a broader push by the town to fill vacant seats on several committees and boards.

TOWN HALL

The town has an open call for a volunteer to join the Conservation Commission, according to a notice posted on the town's website. Town Hall is also seeking volunteers for a range of other committee vacancies, encouraging residents interested in local governance to sign up.

Water bills went out to residents by mail on Friday, July 17, the town confirmed. Town Hall's warrant for the October 2026 Town Meeting also remains open for resident-sponsored articles, a story the town's News Flash has covered in recent days.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Holliston Farmers Market and the town's Concerts in the Park series both return Tuesday, July 21, with musician Matt York performing at the concert. The series continues the following Tuesday, July 28, with a performance by Colin Fields, alongside another Farmers Market date.

Separately, the town has set Holliston Farms Day for Saturday, September 13, giving residents an early save-the-date for the annual community celebration.

COMING UP

Several town boards meet this week: the School Building Committee and Conservation Commission both meet Tuesday, July 21, in Room 105 and remotely. The Council on Aging meets Wednesday, July 22, at 150 Goulding Street, alongside remote sessions of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Trails Committee.

The Envisioning Future Holliston Wellhead Bylaw Subcommittee and the Planning Board both meet Thursday, July 23, remotely. The Historical Commission meets Friday, July 24, at 52 Jasper Hill Road.
