Holliston Select Board authorizes waste contract renewal, welcomes new planning director. The board voted unanimously to authorize Town Manager Frank Gervasio to sign the inter-municipal WINN Waste/Wheelabrator service contract renewal, following town counsel recommendation about a contract technicality involving a $2,500 difference. The board also welcomed Director of Planning and Community Development Sarah Scott and discussed developing a bylaw requiring regular Master Plan updates, the first revision since 1999, following Dedham's model.
The board declined a resident request to fly the Brazilian flag in Blair Square, citing state law restrictions on non-U.S. flags.
