Holliston Street Paving Season Begins as Town Prepares for July 4 Weekend

Summer is officially in full swing in Holliston, with road crews launching a new round of street paving projects and residents getting a heads-up on town service adjustments ahead of the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

Summertime street paving began Monday, June 29, with projects expected to continue across town in the weeks ahead. Residents should watch for temporary traffic disruptions on affected roads. The town also confirmed that trash collection will run on its normal schedule — there will be no delay for Friday, July 3.

Also available on the town website: the 2025 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report and the newly published Holliston Climate Action Plan, both posted for public review.

Holliston Public Library will be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The library returns to regular hours the following week. In the meantime, digital borrowing through Libby, Hoopla, and Kanopy remains available around the clock at hollistonlibrary.org.
Looking ahead on the community calendar: the town's Independence Day Celebration is set for Saturday, July 4. The Holliston Farmers Market resumes Tuesday, July 7, and that same evening the Concerts in the Park Series kicks off with Big Chief.
