Holliston Housing Authority approves FY2026 budget revision for mandatory wage increases. Executive Director Paul Landers and fee accountant Jenna Milne presented the revision, driven by higher pay rates set by the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards and effective for one quarter of the fiscal year; the authority offset increases by reclassifying snow removal to extraordinary maintenance following heavy winter weather. The board voted unanimously to approve the revision, which EOHLC will not fund dollar-for-dollar but approved given the legal wage mandate.
Landers reported approximately $25,000 in outstanding legal fees and requested additional EOHLC funding to cover costs from three ongoing tenant accounts receivable cases pursued through the legal process.
