Water Main Break Disrupts Service on Maple Dell Lane
Holliston's Water Department repaired a water main break at 37 Maple Dell Lane on Oct. 29, restoring water by 9:30 p.m. after temporarily shutting it off for emergency repairs.

Homes on Maple Dell Lane were without water during the repair, and others in the area experienced low pressure. The town said typical repairs take six to eight hours.
By a 9:30 p.m. update, the town reported the repair in front of 37 Maple Dell Lane was completed and water had been fully restored. Cleanup was expected to continue for the next couple of hours.
Residents whose water was restored were advised they might notice colored water or air in the line. The town recommended running a cold water faucet for a few minutes, and if there is no improvement, shutting it off and trying again an hour later.
