Holliston Select Board amends traffic rules for electric bikes and motorcycles. Tina Hein presented amendments developed with Police Department and Trails Committee input, following public testimony about safety concerns on the Rail Trail. The board voted 3-0 to permit electric bicycles and motorized scooters on the Rail Trail while restricting electric motorcycles to riders 16 and older with proof of insurance and registration.

In separate discussion, residents testified that 30 to 40 student-driven cars regularly park on Marked Tree and Robin Hill roads, creating speeding and safety hazards, prompting the board to coordinate with the School Committee for an enforcement solution.
