Select Board · Meeting of February 9, 2026

HOLLISTON — Select Board approves 2.5 percent water rate increase for FY27. Chair Ben Sparrell, Vice Chair Damon Dimmick, and Clerk Tina Hein voted unanimously to raise rates across all tiers and cap multifamily residences at tier 2 usage, while continuing the $8 water meter charge and allocating $20 of the Infrastructure Fee to general water charges. The board also unanimously approved directing Town Manager Frank Gervasio to create an abutters list for the proposed DPW facility consolidation at 63 Arch Street, estimated to cost between $47.5 million and $49 million, with design development and cost estimates due for the May 2026 Town Meeting.

Weston & Sampson Engineering architect David Steeves reported soil testing has begun at the site and that construction is expected to start in early 2027.
