HOLLISTON — Select Board opens May Town Meeting warrant and defers FY2027 budget vote. Chair Ben Sparrell opened with a statement acknowledging communication failures surrounding the town's Boston Honey Company appeal and pledging to work with Town Manager Frank Gervasio on improved outreach strategies; the Board unanimously opened the warrant, removed two articles, and authorized Gervasio to sign a congressional spending letter for the Downtown Sewer Project. Road rehab spending can be reduced by fifty thousand dollars due to available Chapter 90 funds, with a full budget vote expected at the April meeting.
The School Building Committee Working Group continues drafting governance structure and a Memorandum of Understanding.
