Sewer Commission moves forward with MassWorks grant application, easement outreach

Sewer Commission · Meeting of March 12, 2026

Holliston Sewer Commission unanimously approved an Expression of Interest for $4.7 million in fiscal 2026 MassWorks funding. Commission member Frank Chamberlain has signed a pre-contract for existing grant funds, with scoped work slated to begin in early April. The commission heard testimony from two property owners expressing concerns over sewer line alignment and easement details, though no procedural hurdles from the Historical Commission's recent historic property survey are expected.

Most property owners are holding off signing easement agreements until exact pipe locations are confirmed through engineering design, anticipated in late 2026.
