Town Forest Committee approves trail intersection naming scheme

HOLLISTON — The Town Forest Committee approved a trail intersection naming system using letter zones and numerical identifiers across Holliston, Hopkinton, and Milford forest lands. Jason Breslau presented the proposal, which organizes intersections into Zones A through G, with lower numbers positioned closer to trail exits. Committee members assigned action items: Ken Parker will coordinate with the Hopkinton Trails Committee, Jason will pursue contacts in Milford and explore funding, John will contact NEMBA about funding and reach out to Kevin regarding section E, and the committee will present the plan to the Conservation Commission.
Signage will replicate Charles River Reservation designs displaying logos for Holliston Trails, Hopkinton Trails, Milford Trails, NEMBA, and Trustees.
