Town Sets September 13 Date for Holliston Farms Day

HOLLISTON — The town has announced that Holliston Farms Day will be held on September 13, according to a News Flash post from the town this week, giving residents an early save-the-date for one of the community's signature fall gatherings.

The Town of Holliston's official News Flash confirmed this week that Holliston Farms Day will take place on September 13. No additional details on location, vendors, or programming were included in the announcement, but the date marks an early heads-up for residents planning their fall calendars. The town's homepage also continues to list several ongoing initiatives, including summertime street paving projects that began June 29, the newly released 2025 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report, and the town's Climate Action Plan, all posted under recent News Flash items.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Holliston Public Library continues to promote its slate of ongoing offerings, including digital programming for residents unable to attend in-person events and an upcoming online author talk featuring humorist Michael Perry, presented in partnership with the Library Speakers Consortium. The library's Board of Trustees also enacted a policy update regarding reserved materials, effective from a vote taken July 2, 2025, which residents can review through the library's site.

On the town's public events calendar, the Holliston Farmers Market returns Tuesday, July 14, alongside a free Concerts in the Park series performance featuring S'Bourbon 4. The farmers market and concert series repeat the following Tuesday, July 21, with musician Matt York performing.

COMING UP

Several town meetings are scheduled for the week ahead: the Select Board meets Monday, July 13, in Room 105 and remotely; Envisioning Future Holliston, the Sewer Commission, and the Board of Health all convene Tuesday, July 14; and the Historical Commission meets Wednesday, July 15. Later in the month, the Zoning Board of Appeals meets Wednesday, July 22, and the Board of Health meets again Tuesday, July 28.

The Holliston Farmers Market and Concerts in the Park series both return Tuesday, July 14, with S'Bourbon 4 performing, and again Tuesday, July 21, featuring Matt York.
