Holliston Youth and Family Services Advisory Committee convenes to hear departmental updates and grant planning. Jackie Winer, director, reported the department has already served over 100 clients this fiscal year, surpassing the typical annual average of 115-120, with no active waitlist and a full but manageable caseload of 39 clinical cases. Program Assistant Allegra Denehy will depart in March, prompting a review of compensation and position classification with the Town Manager and HR.

HYFS is recruiting three MSW interns for the next academic year from Simmons, Springfield, and Salem State universities and will request a 2.8 percent budget increase for FY 27. The Holliston Drug & Alcohol Awareness Committee has submitted final-year DFC grant documentation and is beginning the yearlong process of reapplying for grant funding for years 6-10.
