HOLLISTON — Youth and Family Services Advisory Committee approves revisions to student representative application. Student members Alex Chechovsky and Harsonica Bindra proposed requiring attendance at two HYFS events per semester, enhanced orientation for new reps, and a bidirectional role in which reps represent student experience to the committee and HYFS programs to peers. Director Jackie reported 117 residents and families served through clinical therapy, 32 active cases, and over $18,000 in Community Action Fund grants distributed, with referral volume increasing compared to the same period in 2024.
HDAAC reported an annual Stakeholders Retreat drawing 30 participants and plans for Narcan training across town departments and a speaker presentation on fear and anxiety management.
