Zoning Board approves two relief applications; comprehensive permit hearing continued.

Holliston Zoning Board of Appeals approves two residential relief applications unanimously. The board granted a dimensional variance to Kimberly Fournier and Anthony Bevilacqua for a deck at 111 Mechanic Street encroaching on the minimum side yard setback, valid for one year from Registry recording and restricted to no closer than 4.6 feet to the side lot line. A special permit was also approved for Thomas W.

Helms Jr. and Marcos Santos at 3 Pine Oak Street for a 317-square-foot first-floor and 1,419-square-foot second-story addition to a pre-existing non-conforming dwelling, valid for three years. The Board continued the public hearing on a comprehensive permit application by MP Properties IV, LLC for 0 and 194 Lowland Street to May 14, 2026 at 6 p.m., with peer reviewers expected to complete comments by May 15.
