Holliston Community Preservation Committee approves $94,000 engineering study for Stoddard Park accessibility and erosion control. The appropriation from the CPA General Reserve will fund design planning for ADA-accessible paths, beach retaining wall, pavilion and picnic table paths, and parking modifications. Committee member Sinead Arsenault praised the project as central to the Parks Department mission, citing high park participation and improved water quality.
Facilities Manager James Keast noted the study will require sealed bidding and prevailing wage compliance, with a project sunset at October 2027 Town Meeting. The Committee indefinitely postponed a Shared Housing Services Office pilot program proposal, finding it does not meet CPA guidelines.
