Commission Issues Enforcement Order for Unauthorized Wetland Structures

HOLLISTON — Conservation Commission issues enforcement order for unauthorized wetland structures. Chair Ann Marie Pilch led the 6-0 unanimous vote brought by Commissioner Allen Rutberg to order demolition of unpermitted agricultural structures at 755 Concord Street built within the wetland buffer zone. The property owner has 30 days to submit a demolition and restoration plan and must eliminate animal waste discharging toward the adjacent wetland.
The Commission also unanimously extended the town's solar permit at 150 and 280 Marshall Street through December 30 to allow filing of a Certificate of Compliance. Four applications were continued to July 7 for further review.
