Conservation Commission Approves Geocaching Guidelines

Holliston Conservation Commission unanimously approves new geocaching guidelines for town conservation lands. The guidelines require advance Commission approval before placing caches, restrict installation to within 25 feet of designated trails, and prohibit placement in wetlands, water bodies, vernal pools, and 50-foot no-disturb zones. The Commission also issued an Order of Conditions for a Birchwood Road project, a Certificate of Compliance for a trail bridge at Broad Hill Mass Audubon Sanctuary, and a Negative 3, Positive 2B Determination permitting invasive species treatment at 35 Union Street.
Four major applications were continued to June 9.
