Board continues hearing on Lowland Street residential development

HOLLISTON — Board continues comprehensive permit hearing on Lowland Street development to July 28. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to extend the public hearing on a multi-family project proposed by MP Properties IV, LLC. Michael Scannell of Marcus Partners presented updates on drainage modeling and floodplain disturbance analysis, both pending completion.
Five residents spoke about traffic concerns at the Fawn Way and Woodland Road intersection; the applicant agreed to provide sidewalk feasibility analysis at the Fawn Way and Upper Charles Rail Trail junction. Town Planner Karen Sherman reported that civil engineers and wastewater designers met to address peer review concerns from the town's engineering consultant, Crossman Engineering.
